In the story Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer the main character, Chris McCandless can easily be used to exemplify life lessons as well as people that are compared to Chris. One of these lessons is the fact that things that one does and the decisions that one makes effects not only them, but people around them. This is shown when Chris meets Ron Franz and Chris trys to keep Ron an "arm length" away from his emotions so that he doesn't get attached. However, to fulfill this goal, Chris leaves Ron so that there connection doesn't become too strong and while Chris is not hurt by this separtation, Ron is greatly scared by this action. Another lesson shown between this two is when Chris tells Ron to take up the nomadic life and become a tramp like him. The problem is that Ron takes this advice and sells his home and buys a trailer to camp near "oh my god" hot springs and waits for Chris to come back. This is a good example of the lesson that just because one enjoys something doesn't mean that others will and it should not be thrust upon them.
